Bob grew up in Irvington, NY and began performing his progressive folk/humor act during college in Pennsylvania. Over the years, he's worked as a math teacher, government public relations, and in broadcasting. While the day job has changed, his love of performing as a singer-songwriter-guitarist hasn't.
He is a thirteen-time winner of the Billboard Magazine Songwriter Contest, has been a guest on national TV, works as 25% of the rock band Cross Purpose, and years ago, even recorded with Les Paul! Bob also has theater experience, with lead roles in "1776", "Born Yesterday", "Sugar", "A Christmas Carol: The Musical", "It's A Wonderful Life: The Musical", and "Mr. Roberts". In addition, he's written 17 detective novels about an old, retired New York City private detective, and 6 memoirs. The memoirs deal with his childhood, years working in broadcasting, and travel.
Bob lives in Putnam Lake, NY with his wife, Sue. Their daughter, Renee (a voice and piano instructor), her husband, Adam (an independent film maker), and their two daughters Aliyah and Skyler, also live at Putnam Lake.
Bob continues to entertain audiences from Philadelphia to Rhode Island with his song writing and outstanding voice.
